CSIR – North East Institute of Science & Technology, Jorhat, a constituent establishment of CSIR, is a multidisciplinary institute having research areas like Chemical Sciences, Biological Sciences, Materials Sciences, Engineering Sciences and Geological Sciences, etc. Now, there is a requirement of a few Project Workers with the following specialization.

Project Title: Crop Protection Chemicals (CPC)

1A. Research Associate
No of posts: 2

Essential Qualification: PhD (or Thesis Submitted) in Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biochemistry.
Desirable: Experience in Organic Synthesis / knowledge in Biotechnology
Age: 35 yrs

1B. JRF / Project Assistant(LII)
No of posts: 5

Essential Qualification: 1st Class MSc / MS in Organic Chemistry
Desirable: Experience in Organic Synthesis and NET (JRF/LS) / GATE qualified
Age: 30 yrs

Project Title: Efficient and Large Scale Production of Carbon Quantum Dots (CQDT’s) from cheap coal feedstock.

2. Project Assistant(L-I)
No of posts: 2

Essential Qualification: BSc in Chemistry
Desirable: Experience in chemical / engineering laboratory
Age: 28 yrs

The time of interview will be from 2 pm onwards on 31-01-2019. Candidate who has not submitted their application form in the required format and their testimonials will not be interview. The decision of the authority of CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat will be final and binding.
