Applications are invited from the eligible candidates having Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Engineering and Diploma in Engineering and Technology for 01 year Apprenticeship Training at Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, a Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE), joint venture of GAIL (India) Limited, Oil India Limited, Numaligarh Refinery Limited and Govt. of Assam under Apprenticeship Act ,1961 (as amended from time to time) for the following categories:

a) Graduate Apprentice

1. Mechanical: 10
2. Electrical: 12
3. Chemical: 15
4. Instrumentation: 5
5. Telecom: 3
6. Computer Science: 3
7. Civil: 3

Education Qualification:

- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by a Statutory University in relevant discipline.
- A Degree in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution empowered to grant such degree by an Act of Parliament in relevant discipline.
- Graduate examination of professional bodies recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Stipend per month (Rs): 7,500/-

b) Technician (Diploma Holder) Apprentice

Discipline/s:
1. Mechanical: 5
2. Electrical: 5
3. Chemical: 5

Education Qualification:

- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a State Council or Board of Technical Education established by a State Government in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by a University in relevant discipline.
- A Diploma in Engineering or Technology granted by an Institution recognised by the State Government or Central Government as equivalent to above.

Stipend per month (Rs): 5,000/-

Note:

- Candidates who have passed out in the year 2016, 2017 and 2018 are eligible to apply in the aforesaid post. However, engineering graduate or diploma holder who had already under gone training or having job experience for a period of one year or more after acquiring required qualifications shall not be eligible for being engaged as an Apprentice under the Act.

- Candidates who have secured aggregate 55% and above marks in their Final Examination in the year 2016, 2017 and 2018 will be preferred.

Age: Not less than eighteen years and upper age limit is 30 years as on 30.04.2019. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidate, 3 years for OBC candidates and 10 years for Persons with Disability.

Selection Process: Selection of shortlisted candidates will be made only through written test or personal interview or both written test and Personal Interview as decided by Management. Schedule for written test or personal interview of shortlisted candidates will be published in the BCPL website www.bcplonline.co.in .
