Applications are hereby invited from eligible candidates in the prescribed format (available in the DHE website) along with complete Bio-Data (including contact number and Email) and self-attested/ copies Of all testimonials from H.S.L.C onwards (including Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) for the following posts of Assistant Professor in the UGC pay scale of Rs.57700-182400 with other allowances as per rule and as admissible from time to time.
1. Assistant Professor: English 1 (One) (Reserved for OBC/MOBC)
2. Assistant Professor, Law: 1 (One) (Unreserved)
3. Assistant Professor, Management: 1 (One) (Reserved for ST-P)
Educational Qualification: The selection will be made as per the latest guidelines issued by the Higher Education Department, Govt. Of Assam. The candidates must fulfill the norms of having at least 55% marks al the Master Degree level (relaxation Of 5% marks is admissible to the candidates belonging to SC/ST/ PWD categories) in the concerned subjects and they must also have cleared the NET conducted by the UGC/CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET/SET.
The Candidates having Ph. D degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standards & procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations. 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of the minimum eligibility condition of NET/SLET/SET.
Age: Candidates should not be more than 38 (thirty-eight) years Of age as on 01.01. 2019 with the relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/ PWD and 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates.
In-service candidates must apply through proper channel with a NOC from the appointing authority/ employer. Without N.O.C. such applications will be rejected outright. Candidates have to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submitting applications, Eligibility like M.Phil/Ph.D/ Seminar Papers Publications can be acquired and submitted on or before the date Of interview and not beyond that.
