Applications are invited for 1(one) temporary post of Research Assistant under Chair Professor, K.D. Malaviya Chair Project (Oil India Limited Endowed) in the Department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University.

Essential Qualification: First Class M.Sc./M.Tech. Degree than  in Geology/ Applied Geology from recognized institute /university with good academic record and not registered for Ph.D. degree.
Specialization: Petroleum Geochemistry/ Petroleum Geology. Candidates with NET/ -GATE qualification will be preferred.

Age: Not more than 35 years .
Pay:
(Non-GATE/Non NET Candidates):
(i)Rs.14,000/-p.m. for initial 2 years.
(ii)Rs.16,000/-p.m. from the third year onwards. +12% HRA. 

(GATE/ NET Candidates):
(i)Rs.16,000/--p.m. for initial 2 years.
(ii)Rs.18,000/-p.m. from the third year onwards. + 12% HRA.

The shortlisted candidates will be called for a walk-in-interview, which will be notified through their e-mail. The candidates should reach by 11.00 A.M. on 24 October 2019 in the office of the K.D.M. Chair Project, Department of Applied Geology, Dibrugarh University. Candidates must bring with them a copy of passport-size photograph, CV along with original and photocopies of certificates, mark sheets and other testimonials.

No TA/DA will be provided for appearing in the interview.
