IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2019: Medical Officer/ Counsellor/ Technical Officer, Apply Online @ iitg.ac.in

Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT Guwahati) invites online applications from eligible Indian Nationals for appointment to the following posts. Candidates are requested to apply online only.

1. Medical Officer
No of posts: 01 (reserved for OBC )

Pay: Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)
Educational Qualification: MBBS degree from a recognized University, with three years of experience in a reputed Hospital after completion of the compulsory rotatory internship. Preference will be given to the candidates having a post-graduate degree or diploma in clinical subjects.

Age: Not more than 35 years. Upper age limit and experience may be relaxed for candidates with higher qualifications.

2. Students’ Counsellor
No of posts: 01 (Reserved for SC)

Pay: Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)
Age: Not more than 50 years

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline from accredited and recognized Institutions with specializations in areas of Counselling, Psychotherapy and / or Clinical Psychology.
Desirable: At least 3 years of experience as practicing professionals or as in-house counselors. Experience of similar work in higher educational institutions will be given weightage.

3. Technical Officer Gr. II
Pay: Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)

(i) Department of Design : 01 post (Reserved for ST )

Educational Qualification & experience: BDes/ MDes or Masters in design relevant subjects & preferably with one year working experience.
Desired qualification & experience: Five years of working experience of video equipment, photography equipment, lighting studio, editing, video conferencing etc. in a digital environment.
Age: Not more than 35 years

(ii) Computer & Communication Centre : 01 post ( Reserved for SC)
Pay: Level –10 as per 7th CPC (PB3 ; ₹ 15600-39100, Grade Pay = ₹ 5400/- as per 6th CPC)
Educational Qualification & Experience: BE/ BTech /MSc. in relevant subject preferably one year working experience.
Desired qualification & experience: BTech / BE with first class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology with one year experience / OR MCA with first class with two years experience / MSc with first class in Computer Science & Engineering / Information Technology with three years experience. Knowledge of Programming and Networking is essential. Familiarity with a Linux environment is required. One year experience in relevant field is desirable.
Age: Not more than 35 years

Application Fee: Applicants will have to make a payment of application fee through online mode only. Fee payable by the applicant are as follows: ₹500 (for OBC applicants) & ₹ 250 (for SC/ST/PwD applicants). Internal applicants of IIT Guwahati can reimburse the application fee by applying to the Registrar, IIT Guwahati.
