National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) established by Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India invites online applications in the prescribed format for recruitment of the following Group-A and Group-B posts of Database administrator, Computer Engineer and Junior Engineer to be filled by direct recruitment on contract basis for five years at various locations across India. (Advertisement No. 10/Direct Rectt-Contract-Group-A&B Posts/2019).

1. Assistant Database Administrator
No of posts: 01 post (UR)

Pay: Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC ₹ 56100-177500
Educational Qualification: ME/ M.Tech/ MCA or equivalent + 6 years' experience.

2. Computer Engineer
No of posts: 13 posts (UR-7, EWS-1, OBC-3, SC-1, ST-1) [1 post @ Shillong]

Pay: Pay Level-7 of 7th CPC ₹44900-142400
Educational Qualification: BE/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ IT/ Electronics & Communication or MCA

OR

Diploma in Electronics/ Computers with 5 years of experience.

3. Junior Engineer (Civil)
No of posts: 06 posts (UR-3, EWS-1, OBC-3, SC-1)

Pay: Pay Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Civil Engineering + 5 years of experience.

4. Junior Engineer (Electrical)
No of posts: 10 posts (UR-5, EWS-1, OBC-2, SC-1, ST-1)

Pay: Pay Level-6 of 7th CPC ₹35400-112400
Educational Qualification: Diploma in Electrical Engineering + 5 years of experience.

Application Fee: ₹1000/- to be paid online for the post of Database Administrator and  ₹500/- Computer Engineer and Junior Engineers.  SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee.
