Assam University, Silchar invites applications from eligible candidates by filling the application format and appearing the test followed by scrutiny of application and testimonials for the following purely temporary Laboratory Staffs in the Department of Agricultural Engineering.

1. Junior Technical Assistant (JTA)
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: Graduation (B.Tech) / 3 years Diploma in relevant subject.
Essential: At least 2nd Class Bachelor Degree B.Tech/ Diploma in relevant subject with at least 3 years experience.

Remuneration: Rs.20,000 (Consolidated)
Age: Not above 30 years as on the date of examination.

2. Laboratory Assistant
No of posts: 01 (UR)

Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree / 3 years Diploma in relevant subject.
Remuneration: Rs.15,000 (Consolidated)
Age: Not above 28 years as on the date of examination.

3. Laboratory Attendant
No of posts: 02 [UR-1, ST-1]

Educational Qualification: HSLC passed or equivalent.
Desirable: Working knowledge of Computer applications.

Remuneration: Rs.10,000 (Consolidated)
Age: Not above 28 years as on the date of examination

3. Laboratory Attendant
Written Test: 08/11/2019 (11 AM onwards)

Skill/ Practical Test: 08/11/2019 (2 PM onwards)
Syllabus: General Mathematics and Science : HSLC standard (Objective pattern)
