CSIR-North East Institute of Science and Technology, Jorhat  invites online applications from Indian citizens who are dynamic, energetic, innovative and possess leadership qualities, for the below mentioned categories of posts to fill up vacancies as per the particulars given below:

Name of post: Technical Officer/Technical Gr.III(3)
No of posts: 2 (1-UR, 1-OBC)

Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent with 55% marks OR MCA with 55% marks after 1st Class B.Sc.

Experience: Familiarity in programming languages such as R, Python, exposure to AI and machine learning. Knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, AJAX, SQL, XML etc for web based application development and database design & maintenance.

Age: 30 years as on 27.12.2019
Pay: Rs 44900/- (As per 7th CPC, Level 7 in the Pay Matrix)

Mode of selection:
A. Trade Test: Based on the advertised qualification of the post.
B. Competitive Written Examination: Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination, Total Questions - 200, Total Time allotted - 3 Hours.

Application Fee: Candidates are required to arrange for a crossed Demand Draft for Rs.100/ drawn on any nationalized bank and valid for at least 3 months in favour of “Director, CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat” payable at Jorhat. The last date for submitting online application and making of Demand Draft is 27.12.2019. This date will be the same for the candidates belonging to far-flung areas. The following details must be filled up on back side of Demand Draft (i) Candidate‟s Name, (ii) Candidate‟s Category, (iii) Post Code Applied. The Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PH/Women/CSIR Employees/Abroad category are exempted from payment of application fee.

How to apply: Eligible candidates are required to apply ONLINE through our website www.neist.res.in. No other mode of application will be considered.

Online application will be available in the CSIR-NEIST website from 07.12.2019 and the closing date of online application will be 27.12.2019. The applicant has to take the print out of the successfully submitted online application and should send the same alongwith all the required documents/testimonials (as at Clause 5 below) by post so as to reach on or before 5 PM of 13.01.2020. The applicant has to upload his/her recent passport size photo while filling up the online application.

The duly signed computer generated application (print-out) accompanied by self - attested copies of the certificates, mark sheets, testimonials in support of age, education qualifications, experience, re-prints of publications and caste certificate, if applicable along with one recent passport size (self-signed photograph) affixed together with Demand Draft (if applicable) should be sent in an envelope super scribed “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF___________(Post Code _________)”by post to the address:
