Applications in prescribed form are invited from the citizen of India for the filling up of the following Teaching posts in various Departments of Mahapurusha Srimanta Sankaradeva Viswavidyalaya (MSSV), Nagaon, Assam:

1. Professor
Subjects: Economics, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Social Work and Sociology.

2. Associate Professor
Subjects: Assamese, English, Performing Arts, Philosophy, Social Work, and Yogic Science and Naturopathy.

3. Assistant Professor
Subjects: Assamese, English, Philosophy, and Sociology.

Pay: Basic + GP of UGC Scale.
Educational Qualification: As per the UGC guidelines. In case of Assistant Professor, candidates with Ph.D. along with NET/SLET shall be preferred.

Application Fee: Candidate are required to pay an amount of Rs. 2,000.00 (Rupees two thousand) only for teaching post by demand draft in favour of “REGISTRAR, MAHAPURUSHA SRIMANTA SANKARADEVA VISWAVIDYALAYA” payable at “State Bank of India, Nagaon Main Branch (IFSC: SBIN0000146)” or Cash at Accounts Branch of the University as an application fees for the post.

How to apply: Completed application in prescribed form along with necessary enclosures must reach “REGISTRAR, MAHAPURUSHA SRIMANTA SANKARADEVA VISWAVIDYALAYA, H.B. PATH, KOLONGPAR, NAGAON – 782001” on latest by 27th December 2019.

Prescribed application form may be downloaded from the University website i.e., www.mssv.co.in.

Note:

i. Those who are willing to apply more than one post they must submit separate form with separate application fees.
ii. The name of post and department must be written on the envelop of the application.
iii. Those in employment should submit their applications through proper channel up are submit the NOC from the authority concern.
