A walk-in-interview will be held on 28th February 2020 at 11:00AM in the office of the Dean, School of Earth Sciences & Natural Resource Management, Mizoram University, Aizawl- 796004 (Mizoram) for the following positions against the project detailed below:

(A) Title of the project: Net ecosystem production and carbon dynamics of forest ecosystems in Northeast India in relation to altitude and latitude gradient
Name of post/s: Research Associate (RA)-01, Field Worker (FW)-01

(B) Title of the project: Assessment of socio-ecological vulnerability to climate change among agroforestry managers along an altitude gradient in the Eastern Himalayas
Name of post/s: Research Associate (RA)-01, Field Worker (FW)-01

Fellowship:

RA-54000+8%HRA
FA-18000+8%HRA

Educational Qualification:

(a) Research Associate: Ph.D in Forestry/Environmental Science/Life Science/Botany/Ecology) or equivalent with at least one research paper in Science Citation Index (SCI) journal

(b) Field Worker: B.Sc (Botany/ Forestry/ Life Sciences/Environmental Sciences/Ecology). Preference will be given to the candidates with some field/research/laboratory experience.

How to apply: The candidates attending the interview should come with their bio-data (in a standard format) with one set of certificates supporting educational qualification & research experience/publication etc.
