Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA) has launched the “Anneswan” web portal for Assam Higher Secondary Online Admission 2020 process to be started from 20th June 2020. Students who have passed HSLC exam may apply online for Assam HS Admission 2020.
Assam Higher Secondary Admission 2020
As already notified by Govt. of Assam, due to COVID-19 pandemic, entire admissions to all the educational institutions including Assam HS admission 2020 will be done only in online mode for 2020-21 academic session.
In view of above notification, the secondary education department has notified that willing colleges, senior secondary schools and higher secondary schools can use common software available on the SEBA (Board of Secondary Education, Assam) website from June 15 onwards for admission into class XI.

Assam HS Admission 2020 for Higher Secondary 1st year classes will be completed through “Anneswan“, the common portal for online HS admission, to be available on SEBA’s official website sebaonline.org .
The principals of colleges, HS schools and senior secondary schools, willing to avail this facility, can register for the same in online mode.
* Pl keep in mind that, some educational institutes or colleges may not use “Anneswan” portal; rather they may use their own online admission portal. So, one should better visit the official websites of the institute/s concerned regarding this.
How to Apply for Assam HS Admission 2020
Step 1: Scroll down, check Important Web Link‘s section.
Step 2: Click on HS 1st Year Online Admission link.
Step 3: A portal will load, Login using your HSLC/AHM Roll No. and Date of Birth (as per Admit Card).
Step 4: Select your institute and fill up the online form.
Step 5: Upload scan copy of photograph, signature and necessary documents.
Step 6: Take a print out of the filled up form, and keep for future reference.
Step 7: Please do check the portal regularly for updates. You will be notified through the portal which institution(s) you have been selected for admission.
Note: The educational institutions having their own online admission system may carry on with their existing online system.
Do I need to Attend any Document Verification?
The Assam HS admission procedure is a complete online process. No face-to-face interview, physical document verification etc. will be held. Marksheets, certificates, and all other relevant documents will have to be scanned and uploaded during online admission.
When the Merit List will be available ?
Assam HS Admission 2020 Merit List will be available from 01/07/2020 to 10/07/2020.
Assam HS Admission 2020 Fees
Pl keep in mind that, the entire Assam HS admission process will be FREE. Assam Government has already issued the official order regarding waiving off all fees due for admission and other categories at the educational institutes starting from Higher Secondary to PG level irrespective of the income category of parents.
Assam HS Admission 2020 Important Dates
* 20/06/2020 to 30/06/2020: Submission of Application by Student. Application to Multiple Institution is allowed.
* 01/07/2020 to 10/07/2020: Confirmation of Merit List by Institutions.
* 11/07/2020 to 15/07/2020: Students have to confirm his/ her admission.
* 16/07/2020: Institution will get final list of students who have confirmed admission and Students will get an admission confirmation note.
