Govt. of Assam has released the district-wise distribution schedule of Anundoram Borooah Laptop Award Scheme 2019. Candidates may download the same from ARBAS, Assam website https://ift.tt/31yUYjK .

"Anundoram Borooah Award" is an award given by Govt. of Assam to the meritorious students of the State in the form of a laptop computer. Each year, Govt. of Assam has given this award to students who passed SEBA HSLC Exam with flying colours.

 
Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2019: 

The Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme was launched by the Govt. of Assam in the year 2005 with the sole aim of enhancing healthy competition amongst the student community and to help them to enrich their perception through up-to-date knowledge and information with the help of IT education. In this age of globalization, Information Technology already has significantly altered many aspects of life and in recent years this robust field has made its place into the academic curriculum of schools and colleges up to the university level. Therefore, looking at the present scenario of the innate potentialities of the IT industry, the Government of Assam has made an effort to promote IT education through this unique scheme. 

Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2019 Laptop Distribution Date:

Putting an end to all the speculation, Education minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma today on 7th June 2020 announced that laptop will be distributed on next week against Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2019. 


For Kamrup (Metro) district, laptops will awarded from 12th June 2020 at 9 venues.

He said, “Meritorious students who appeared HSLC exam last year will receive computers from next week and AMTRON will distribute the computers to the candidates. Students will be called in their respective schools and the distribution will be done without any function.”

Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme Contents:

a) A certificate
b) Laptop Computer
c) 2 years 3G/ 4G Internet Connection Subscription
d) Books on all subject as per NCERT course in PDF format and Digital Content (2D/3D Animation, Audio/Video ) for each stream and On-line Coaching and Score Improvement System (OLCSIS) for Science Students

Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme Eligibility Criteria:

The Students securing Star Mark and above in the High School Leaving Certificate Examination/High Madrassa Examination/ F.M. Examination and Sanskrit Pali & Pravesika Examination, Assam during the year 2019 are eligible for the Scheme. 

How to Apply for Anundoram Borooah Award Scheme 2019: 

All qualifying students who are qualified to avail the award may register online through the portal https://ift.tt/2u6QDCx.

The applicant will have to upload the following:

1. Pass Certificate duly attested and counter signed by the Head of the Institution from which the applicant passed out in PDF file format.
2. A self attested passport size photograph of the applicant in JPG file format.
