ICMR Regional Medical Research Centre, NE Region, Dibrugarh has released a notification for the recruitment of 4 Research Scientist, Research Assistant & Laboratory Technician Vacancy.

1. Research Scientist II (Non-Medical)
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 70,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: Below 40 years

Educational Qualification: First class master’s degree in Microbiology/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from are recognized university with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after 1st class masters degree. OR

Second class M. Sc. + Ph. D degree in Microbiology/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Life Sciences from a recognized University with 4 years R&D / teaching experience in the relevant subject after M. Sc. + Ph. D

Desirable Qualification:

    i. Doctorate degree in relevant subject from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree. ii. Additional Post doctoral research training experience in relevant subjects in recognized institute.
    ii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools Data Management.

2. Research Scientist I (Medical)
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 43,489/- per month (consolidated)
Age: Below 35 years

Educational Qualification: MBBS Degree recognized by MCI/VCI

Desirable Qualification:

    i. MD in Microbiology/Epidemiology from a recognized university for candidates with first class relevant degree.
    ii. Additional Post doctoral research/ training experience in Microbiology/ Virology in recognized institute(s).
    iii. Knowledge of Computer Applications or Business Intelligence tools Data Management
    iv. Two years R&D / Teaching experience in Microbiology/ Virology after obtaining essential qualification.

3. Research Assistant
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 30,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: Below 30 years

Educational Qualification: Post graduate degree in Microbiology/ Zoology Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics/ Life Sciences.

Desirable Qualification:

    i) Research Experience in the field of Microbiology/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics
    ii) Knowledge of Computer Applications

4. Laboratory Technician
No of posts: 1

Pay: Rs. 25,000/- per month (consolidated)
Age: Below 30 years

Educational Qualification: B. Sc. / 12″ pass with diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology. OR

High School with 5 years laboratory experience in a Govt. recognized laboratory.

Desirable Qualification:

    i. B. Sc in Medical Laboratory Technology
    ii. Knowledge of Computer Applications/ Data Management

COVID-19 Preventive Measure: Candidates will be allowed to attend the interview and entry will be permissible inside the ICMR-RMRC, N.E Region Campus only after preliminary temperature screening at the entrance gate in staggered manner. Wearing of mask is mandatory and candidates should maintain social distancing norms.

- The date and time of the interview will be intimated to the eligible candidates via email.

- Candidates should come with up-to-date bio-data, 2 copies of recent passport size coloured photograph, and self attested photocopies of certificates in support of age, educational qualifications, caste and experience along with the original documents.

- The applicants must provide a valid Email ID and Contact Number.

- Candidates must reach the Center and register themselves before 10.00 AM. No candidates will be allowed to enter after 10.00 AM.
