CBSE CTET July 2020 Admit Card

The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the admit card for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 on its official website — ctet.nic.in. 
 
The CTET admit card can be obtained from the official website or the link provided below. Candidates need to login with their registration number and date of birth. 
 
The examination would be conducted by the Board on January 31, 2021, in 135 cities across the country.
 

How to download CTET Admit Card 2021 ?


# Visit the official site of CTET on ctet.nic.in.

# Click on CTET Admit Card 2021 link available on the home page.

# A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the application number, date of birth, security pin and click on submit.

# Your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

# Check the admit card and download it.

# Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.

CBSE CTET July 2020

 
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the official notification regarding the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020 on its official website.

Schedule of CTET July 2020 has been revised. Last date of submission of online application is 09 March 2020 upto 23:59. Last date of submission of fee is 13 March 2020 before 15:30 hrs.

CBSE will be conducting the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) on January 31st 2021, at various examination centres spread across the country.

CBSE CTET July 2020 Eligibility Criteria


For becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known)
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
OR
“Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)”
“(a) who has acquired the qualification or Bachelor of Education from any NCTE recognized institution shall be considered for appointment as a teacher in classes I to V provided the person so appointed as a teacher shall mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two year of such appointment as primary teacher”.

For becoming Teacher for Classes VI-VIII: Elementary Stage
 
Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).
OR
Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.EI.Ed).
OR
Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4- year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed.
OR
Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education)*.
OR
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. Programme recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Moreover, as per the existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11-02-2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TET/CTET.

CBSE CTET July 2020 Application Fee


a) Only for Paper I or II

General/OBC (NCL): Rs 1000/-
SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: Rs.500/-

b) Both Paper I & II

General/OBC (NCL): Rs 1200/-
SC/ST/Diff. Abled Person: Rs.600/-

Mode of Payment: 
 
•Remittance through E-Challan by depositing the prescribed fee in CTET Exam Fee Account with Syndicate Bank or Canara Bank.
– Payment by Syndicate Bank e-Challan
– Payment by Canara Bank e-Challan
•By Online-mode (Payment by Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).

CTET 2020: How to apply ?


Step 1: Visit the official website of CTET i.e. ctet.nic.in .
Step 2: On the official homepage, click on the link which says 'apply online'
Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen
Step 4: Fill in the online application form and note down the registration number/application number
Step 5: Upload scanned images of the latest photograph and signature
Step 6: Make payment
Step 7: Download and take a print out for further reference.
 

CBSE CTET July 2020 Exam Date

 
The 14th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) which was scheduled to be held on 05-07-2020 (Sunday) in 112 cities all over the country and postponed due to administrative reasons, the said examination will now be held on 31.01.2021 (SUNDAY).

To maintain social distance and other safety measures, the said examination will now be conducted in 135 cities. The new examination cities are Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Begusarai, Gopalganj, Purnia, Rohtas, Saharsa, Saran, Bhilai/Durg, Bilaspur, Hazaribagh, Jamshedpur, Ludhiana, Ambedkar Nagar, Bijnor, Bulanshahar, Deoria, Gonda, Mainpuri, Pratapgarh, Shahjahanpur, Sitapur and Udham Singh Nagar. A list of such identified cities is available on CTET website www.ctet.nic.in . A large number of requests have been received from the candidates for change of option for their examination city as they have shifted their place due to COVID-19.

Keeping in view the difficulty faced by candidates due to COVID-19, the Central Board of Secondary Education has decided to give one time chance to the candidates for corrections in their option of city from which they want to appear in the CTET examination.

The candidates who wish to change their examination city can make online corrections from 07.11.2020 to  16.11.2020 upto 11.59 P.M.
Every effort will be made to accommodate the candidates in the cities opted by them but if the situation arises, they can be allotted any city other than the four cities opted by the candidates.
