Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech with relevant Degree/Diploma in Biomedical Equipment Technology & Maintenance .
Experience: 7 years as a Biomedical Engineer out of which minimum 5 years must be in hospital & healthcare industry .

Job Description: As a Biomedical Engineer, one must undertake the following tasks. Although the same is not an exhaustive list and the Bio-medical Engineer must work towards fulfilling the requirements of the Hospital.

• Installation, adjustment, maintenance, repair and providing with technical support for biomedical equipment’s.
• Evaluation of the safety, effectiveness and efficiency of all the biomedical equipment.
• Training of the clinicians and non-clinical personnel involved in the operation of such equipment, on the proper use of this equipment, regular up-keep and maintenance,
• Prepare procedures, technical reports and make recommendations based on the same, present outcomes to the hospital management, clinicians, engineers, and others involved.
• Biomedical engineers are also involved in the designing of electrical circuits, software to run this medical equipment, or computer simulations in order to test the new drug therapies.
• Liaison with external entities for repair, replacement and resolution of technical issued faced by the equipment.
