Eligibility Criteria of Margherita College Recruitment

Educational Qualification and Selection Procedure: As per Govt. Office Memorandum No. AHE.407/2017/54 dated 25-11- 2020 .  The candidates must have at least 55% marks  at the Master degree level (5% is relaxable to the candidates belonging to SC / ST /PWD category) in the concerned subject and must have cleared the NET / SET / SLET conducted by UGC / CSIR or similar test accredited by UGC like SLET Commission. Candidates having PhD degree in accordance with the UGC (minimum standard and procedure for award of PhD degree) Regulation 2009 shall be exempted from the requirement of minimum eligibility conditions of NET/ SLET/ SET. A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to SC / ST/ PWD candidates.

A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided to PhD holders who have obtained their Master’s degree prior to 19th September 1991. The candidates have to acquire qualifications as on the last date for submitting applications. Eligibility like MPhil / PhD/ Seminar Papers / Publications can be acquired and submitted on the date of interview and not beyond.

Age Limit: The age of the candidates should not be more than 38 years on 01.01.2021 with relaxation of 5 years for SC / ST /PWD candidates and 3 years for OBC /MOBC candidates
