Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC), Govt. of India is operating Himalayan Research Fellowship programme under National Mission on Himalayan Studies (NMHS) through different Universities and Institutions of Indian Himalayan Region.
College of Fisheries (Department of Aquatic Environment Management), Assam Agricultural University has been awarded with 5 Junior Research Fellowships (JRF) for a period of three years (2018-2021).
Applications are invited from young and dynamic Indian students interested in working in North Eastern Himalayan aquatic ecosystems and willing to take up
field assignments of long duration for award of 2 Junior Research Fellowships. The details of the fellowships are as follows:
Name of post: Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
No of posts: 5
Educational Qualification: Candidates completing M.F.Sc. degree in Aquatic Environment Management (AEM)/ Fisheries Resource Management (FRM) with a minimum CGPA of 7.00 in 10.00 point scale can apply for the fellowship.
Fellowship: JRF 2 nos. @ Rs.31,000/- + 8% HRA per month for first two years and Rs.35,000/- + 8% HRA per month for the third year (if applicable).
Selection Procedure: The selection for the fellowship programme shall be on the basis of a personal interview to be held at Deptt. of AEM, College of Fisheries, Raha on 28th August, 2019 (Wednesday). Interested candidates are requested to submit soft copy of their complete Biodata in advance to the email id drrajdeepdutta@gmail.com and bring hard copy of the same along with original and one set of self attested copy of testimonials at the time of personal interview.
