Political (A) Department is looking for suitable qualified persons for contractual engagement as (1) Project Assistant and (2) Research Assistant for a period initial period of 15 months for project research works relating to publication of Political History of Assam (Project) for the period from 1947-2012.

1. Project Assistant
No of posts: 02

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Humanities/ English 01(one) year Diploma in Computer Application.
Pay: Rs. 50.000/- only per month

2. Research Assistant
No of posts: 03

Educational Qualification: Post Graduate Degree in Humanities/ English 01(one) year Diploma in Computer Application
Pay: Rs.30.000/- only per month only

Selection Process: Short listed candidate will be called for Written Test /Computer Test/Interview.
Age: Not above 44 years as on the 1st January, 2019.
